Communicative. Informative. glass façades become media façades.
At night, the 170m² communication area of SUBARU media façade in Seoul is a luminous advertising medium. Switching off powerglass® during the day it is an unobtrusive light installation.

Light and media design spectacularly integrated into architecture: powerglass® media façades are transparent high tech glass façades with embedded light emitting diodes (LED). They combine the buildings skin with trendsetting LED-communication technology.

A unique feature is its total transparency. The white LED are integrated into the cast resin glass laminate. They are controlled via invisible conductors by means of computer. Logos, text messages and animations can thus be displayed extensively on both the outside and inside of a facade.

At night, the 170m² communication area of SUBARU media façade is a luminous advertising medium. During the day when the installation is switched off, employees inside the building are not affected by the unobtrusive installation. Except for the central control system, all components needed to operate the system are integrated into the façade construction.
