powerglass^®

For an exhibition in honor of the seventieth anniversary of the famous diamond collection of Coco Chanel the renowned light artist Ingo Maurer designed three dream island, for which he also designed this impressive powerglass^® bench among other objects.

The bench consists of a double laminated glass (glass thickness 3cm) and therefore reaches a total glass thickness of 6 cm.

288 white LEDs with light radiating on both sides, sparkling like a hundred stars inside the glass are integrated in the seating area.
This remarkable bench has the dimension of 200 x 50 x 40 cm and can only be obtained directly from the artist. This creation was also to be seen at the showroom in Milan.
