| function: | EMC-shielding glasses close openings in your housing with a highly transparent conductive coating on the inside surface of the glass. The construction without wire mesh performs a clear transparent view towards your display, which may carry an additional antiglare option. Conductive adhesives tapes are available as an additional equipment tool. They can be used to connect the conductive coating on the glass to the conductive surface of the housing. Please view our separate data sheet. Optionally, EMC-shielding glasses are available as a vandalism-proof compound glass version. |
||||||||||||||||||||
| technical specifications | |||||||||||||||||||||
| sizes: | The glasses are produced in custom-tailored dimensions. Please keep in mind, that EMC-shielding glasses are to be connected along all edges of the glass-side and a non-transparent frame appears. This frame is 10 mm (0.39") wide on each side and has to be added to the transparent glass area as a minimum and eventually the mechanical connection to the frame as well. | ||||||||||||||||||||

| Conductive adhesive tape |
|||||||||||||||||||||
| general description | |||||||||||||||||||||
| name | conductive adhesive tape | ||||||||||||||||||||
| application: | Conductive adhesive tape is used to connect EMC-shielding glasses on all edges to the inner side of the housing. Therefore a complete screening is covering the opening of the housing e.g. for the display. | ||||||||||||||||||||

| Heating glass |
|||||||||||||||||||||
| general description | |||||||||||||||||||||
| function: | Our heating glass is highly transparent without any visible heating wires It provides an areal heating system. Standard FPD's can be used within wide temperature ranges, which are far beyond their specified data. The heating is provided commonly over the whole area in front of the display. As an optional accessory we provide an electronic circuit board, which controls function and power consumption according to the temperature, so power consumption is minimised. Please see our separate data sheet. A laminated vandal-proof security- glass version of heating glass is also available. |
||||||||||||||||||||
| technical specifications | |||||||||||||||||||||
| dimensions: | The glasses are produced in custom-tailored dimensions. Please keep in mind, that heating glasses have to be connected on the longer glass side and a non-transparent area will cover these connection bus-bars. These bars are 20mm (0.79") wide on each side and have to be added to the transparent glass area as a minimum. basic construction sketch: |
